I have lovely family.
When I turned a special birthday a little while ago, one of my mothers in law (I have two!) gave me this embroidery she had done.
She's Hungarian by descent, and does these amazing embroideries. They are called 'mayto', I think (I'm happy to be corrected).
This is just a small table runner, but I'm hopeful if I drop enough hints I might get a whole table cloth next year!
Whilst I call myself a crafter, one thing I've never managed is embroidery like this. I'm lucky that I have someone who can do it for me!
