Haven’t had much time to do any real sewing today. I’ve spent a few minutes cutting hexies out for the ballet project leftovers – I have so many leftover of one colour I’ve had a cunning plan to use them up. Won’t show you that yet until I’ve something more to show.
The last few times I’ve cut the hexies out I’ve done it by tracing the templates onto the fabric and then cutting them with scissors to reduce waste. Yesterday I decided that was dumb. I cut all my hexies in less than five minutes with some waste – but not enough to worry about.
Hopefully I’ll get into my sewing room today and I will be able to show you something!
