Where I’m At

Some days I need to piece bright, happy colours, and the thirties fabrics I adore always do it for me.

I’ve been plodding away on this log cabin recently (another one of the UFO’s hidden in the depths of my sewing room) and it’s so bright and cheery, I just love it.

I had to stop for a while because I’d almost run out of oranges, however a very quick parcel from twiddletails.com (no affiliation, just very impressed) saved me and I’m now about to head into the sewing room to push on through.

Hope your day has been a sewing one.

  2. I love log cabins, and I'm not sure that I've ever seen one done in 30s repros. I'm not sure why, because when I see yours, it's obvious that they make up spectacular log cabin quilts!
