It's amazing, isn't it, how two blocks put together can make such an interesting pattern. This one is obviously the Nine Patch, and the Snowball block. I think it may be called a Garden Twist perhaps, though I'm not sure so don't quote me. I know I had loads of 2 1/2" squares and I was able to use them in this design, without much effort at all. Just had to cut the cream, and I used a plain homespun for that part of it (because I have a large, large amount of that here).
It's very effective, really. I'll quilt this one and give it to charity, because it's a nice and airy one and I think someone might enjoy it.
