More Lucy Boston

I got more than a little sick of Lucy Boston, given that we were working on one for our quilting group at the same time that I was working on my own.  I’d been carrying around a kit, trying to get five minutes to sit and make sure I had basted it well enough so the repeat would work well.

I think I like the first layout the most.  What do you reckon?

I’ve also been carrying around some hexies in a range of fabrics I brought as a kit from some quilt show years ago – I was going to make another design for something and it was so flipping hard I put it in the naughty corner.  But I did love the fabric, so I’ve just been hexie-ing quietly when I can’t think of anything else to do.

I’m not sure what I’ll do with it but they are pretty, don’t you think?

    I didn't realise you were making your own Lucy quilt to...... How many blocks do you have finished?
    I like the to one but what does it look like with the centres pieces flipped so the red is more in the centre?

      Yeah, I started one before the group. Mine has limped so slowly along, there's is done and dusted! I like your idea of swapping them around, I'll try that and take a photo! Glad to hear you have had lovely rain - how wonderful!
