I am desperately trying to find this pattern. The website works but there is a problem with shipping. Craft cubby. Does anyone have the pattern I could purchase as used?
Is there a digital pattern for these? I love to applique for I don't like to do it if I can't use my embroidery machine to embroidery around each piece.
Thanks for your help. I just love these little animals!!!!
I can’t seem to order this pattern for raggedy barnyard animals from the craft cubby in New South Wales. The website still works but shipping is the problem. Can anyone help? I really want to make this quilt. Thank you.
I had many problems trying to order the pattern until I tried Paypal. Voila! It worked. Be patient. It took quite a while to ship, go through Customs and arrive.
How long did it take to ship? I’m in Canada and ordered it ok, but that was a month ago, have had no advice that it has shipped, getting a bit worried.
Hi guys, sorry I didn't see your responses before. As far as I know, the business is still going, but they are woeful in any form of customer response in the best of markets. Throw in this whole Corona Virus thing and I would be assuming you would be waiting a long time for your pattern. Australia Post (our mail system) is very much under pressure at the moment, and even domestic mail is very very slow. I would suggest you use paypal and email them vigorously (if you can find an email address anywhere). Best of luck!
I down loaded the pictures and printed them. Then I put the fabric face up carbon paper black side down and then printed picture face up. I drew the shape I wanted from that bottom fabric and traced it on the picture using a colored pencil. I did each shape the same way. Then cut out from the bottom fabric the shape. Use your favorite applique method and attach them to a background fabric. Cut only the bottom fabric. The fabric doesn't smudge so it easily stores. I put my pieces in a Ziploc bag until I assembled the animal on the background fabric. I used a water base glue like Elmer's glue to applique the pieces in place. Then I used a small zigzag stich to sew to the background. I hand embroidered the stitches on the face and patches. The printed paper with animals can be reused with a different colored pencil.
Adorable! Cute faces - great fabrics and colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Though I can't claim credit, it wasn't done for me. But I'll pass it on to the quilter!
