Loads Of Lucy

Late last year, our group decided to make a Lucy Boston quilt to raffle off in a year or two (when it was done).  We gave ourselves a long time frame, knowing some of us have lots on our plate, but surprisingly the blocks came back really, really quickly.  Now we are plodding along doing all the connectors, but it seems that we will have this quilt available to raffle in October this year, instead of next.

I’ve managed to take a lot of photos of the blocks, because I know that people love to see them.  So enjoy (picture heavy, slow loading!)

Do you like them?  I think our group has done such a stellar job.  I’ll post the quilt when it’s done.

Have a lovely day!

    1. Hi Chooky, thanks for replying. We are almost done now, my clever mother has taken the task of joining the rows/sashing blocks together and I'll endeavour to take lots of photos for here. We used a fabric range called 'Emma Louise' which is a flat homespun suggested by a few shops, cost about $15 a metre. Both colours are Emma Louise. The background is called 'latte' and the contrast is called Mushroom I think. Basically beige and mushroomy pink :) The raffle is a fundraiser for our quilting group, will be raffled as soon as it's finished and drawn in October. I'll happily post details here if people want to buy tickets! I'm buying heaps!
