One of my other hats is being involved with our annual Rose Festival, which is held every year in October. I’m not involved as such, but turn up to help out when needed. I was helping the ladies set up and let my eldest daughter go nuts with my iphone. Enjoy!
I think the event was successful, it was a few weeks ago but everyone that passed through seemed to think it was well done.
I’ve been in my sewing room today, so I will have some sewing for you soon! Yay!

As promised, please have a look at our local quilt show that was held over the weekend. My photos are all from my camera, and I think it performed well!
How fabulous is the car? Many hours of hard work in that. Most of the blocks are orphan blocks left at the clubrooms, so it was really nice to get them into something useful!
I’m having a real crisis of faith at the moment with my quilting. I really don’t know what the problem is – I feel very much like my work just doesn’t cut it. I wonder if it’s because of being too busy, too many irons in the fire, you know the drill. Maybe I need to slow down with my projects, but my brain is telling me to get stuff moving, moving, moving!
Anyway. Hope you enjoyed our quilt show, I did manage to get most of the quilts photographed, though some slipped through, I realise now.
